Comparing pneumatic brands: Festo, AirTAC or Shako?

In Iran's market the real contest is between three names: Festo from Germany, AirTAC and Shako from Taiwan. This note compares them the way an engineer buys: by the part, the duty and the budget.
Festo: precision first
Festo leads on design and tolerance. Its cylinders and valves are the reference for pharmaceutical, food and high-cycle machines, and the price follows.
AirTAC: the balance
AirTAC gives most of the performance for a fraction of the cost, with wide stock in Iran. It is the sensible default for packaging and general machine building.
Shako: built for hard places
Shako is known for valves and air preparation that tolerate dirty air and heavy duty: steel, mining, ceramics.
Telling an original from a copy
Check the laser marking, the packaging label and the serial; buy from a supplier who can show where the part came from. Tat supplies all three with that guarantee.
